I just wanted to let you know that I leave soon for 6 weeks away (2 weeks in Perth for Christmas with family and 4 weeks in Bali working as a Naturopath at a retreat)!
I wanted to remind you that you have 5 days left to come and grab anything you need off me such as cookbooks (Real Food Kitchen or Lunchbox Revolution), herbal tinctures, probiotics, etc to see you through the new year. I am available on email while away however I obviously won't have my physical products with me, so I want to let you know that you have 5 days left!
I also want to inspire some healthy Christmas feasting in you - with some inspiring blogs and recipes that I know I will be turning too. My mum and I have been talking about the food for Christmas day on and off for months. We both feel the same way about healthy goodness - it tickles us pink :) and to be able to share it with others...well...even better!
Along with some delicious recipe books that I love to refer to, such as The Real Food Chef & The Real Food Kitchen (which I sell both of in my clinic), there is also Jo Whitton's Quirky Cooking cookbook which we have sort ideas from, along with some delightful blogs that I regularly seek inspiration from. So...here are a list of blogs that inspire me:
http://www.secretsquirrelfood.com - this blog is visually inspiring with healthy sweets, treats and whole food clean recipes.
http://www.livingonpulse.blogspot.com.au/p/recipes_3001.html - a friend of mine who I studied Naturopathy with has written this blog. There are so many fabulous recipes! If you are looking for nourishing, traditional, wholesome yet different meals, that are all vegan search here!
www.seedsofhealth.com.au/blog/ - this is my blog & this recipe may inspire you to create a healthy creamy choc orange cake for Christmas day! You will also find a great roast pumpkin, avocado & macadamia salad that will tickle some tastebuds, plus more. Remember instead of rum balls you can always serve delicious alternatives like these cacao balls & these yoga bliss balls.
http://www.jessicasepel.com/category/recipes/ - Jessica's list of recipes are delicious! You won't have a problem finding Christmas ideas here.
http://www.runningonrealfood.com/vegan-blueberry-coconut-pancakes/ - yummy blueberries pancakes. You can also contact me if you would like my whole food SOURDOUGH pancake recipe (using rye & spelt flour). I love working with sourdough, making bread and fabulous sour pancakes. They are something else! Served with coconut/vanilla bean/cashew cream & 100% mango gelato ice cream (I make it through my juicer but you could also serve them with banana ice-cream that you make in a blender). Have them for breakfast on Christmas day, topped with berries! (...remember if you are making the sourdough version, they do need to be started on Christmas eve - but this will only take 5 mins!).
Please contact me if you need any consultations or herbs/supplements before Sunday. I am available over the weekend by appointment. I have appointments left on Thursday and Friday of this week.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and look forward to sharing with you my time in Bali working with those 16 brave individuals who have chosen to heal their chronic illness.
2015 is going to be a fabulous year - I can feel it! I hope you are setting aside some time to set some intentions - be it for health, career, mindset, relationships, holidays away, dreams, goals, etc. It is much more real when written down! I went to the Cairns Business Women's lunch on Friday & heard Leonie Dawson talk & felt very inspired to continue to create things that are true to me. Click here to buy her book. I have been using her planner for the last few days to create clarity around my 2015!
By the end of this week I will also be sharing with you all my new website!! I have been building up to it and feeling very excited! Keep your eyes on www.seedsofhealth.com.au
Have a beautiful Christmas break and find some time to nourish yourself, laugh and enjoy the company of those around you.
Janelle.
