These bliss balls are so delicious and oily - full of healthy happy hormone fats for your skin and mood.
*Makes about 35*
1/2 cup Hemp seeds
1/2 cup Golden linseeds
1/2 cup Sesame seeds
1/4 cup Chia seeds
1 cup Walnuts
2 cup Cashews
1 cup Cranberries (buy the organic ones soaked in apple juice not sugar)
2 tablespoons Coconut oil
1/4 cup Tahini
1 tbsp rice malt syrup
*Taste the mixture & if you feel it is not sweet enough add 2 fresh dates (I like a less sweet bliss ball)
Coconut flakes or desiccated coconut (optional - either to add in or roll in)
Blend together and roll in to balls. If you choose to make a double batch for future snacking, these freeze well.
We need good fats in our diet, so these provide a fabulous selection along with protein, calcium and copper among other goodies. Copper is a co-factor to producing SOH (superoxide dismutase) a powerful antioxidant in the body, which among many things supports a healthy nervous system. Copper also maintains tissue integrity and assists in producing energy.
Let me know how you feel after snacking on these beauty brain balls?!
